Holliday Leads Lesson on Sleep Health

Naomi Holliday, an undergraduate research assistant at Hawkins Lab, led a lesson on sleep health to a 5th grade class at the Falk Laboratory School. In her lesson, she implemented the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)’s sleep health curriculum. This continues her research that examines how meditation, body mindfulness, sleep education, interactive activities, and other interventions can improve sleep hygiene and help children build better sleep habits.

Holliday is an undergraduate Psychology student at the University of Pittsburgh. She is interested in child and adolescent sleep health, working towards getting children to think about sleep to take better care of their bodies and minds. Holliday is also interested in somatic therapy, breath work, and holistic approaches to mental health.

Congratulations to Naomi Holliday on doing such a wonderful job!
